Unreasonably slow performance!

Hey guys,

 

I have been using my computer for a while now but often times it seems to be working much slower than it should... I have 16GB of ddr4 ram clocked at 3200mhz... I open FIFA 17 and the task manager shows that somehow I am using 89% of RAM.. I don't think that makes any sense at all... On top of all that sometimes on startup 40% of my processor is in use only because of discord.... I am forced to restart my system when this stuff happens and I strongly feel this should not be the case when it comes to my PC because the specs are decent enough to handle mundane tasks like these..

 

Specs: Processor- i5 6600k @4.0ghz

Motherboard- MSI Z150a Gaming M5

RAM- Corsair Vengeance DDR4 (2×8gb)

@3200mhz 

Graphics Card- GeForce GTX 1080 GAMING X

PSU- Armaggeddon Voltron 600W 80plus gold

Cooling- Thermaltake Extreme Water 3.0

 

Let me know if I'm missing anything.. any help would be much appreciated.. Thanks in advance..!

 

P.S- please don't make fun of my PSU ;_;

my CPU is pinned at 100% for startup until everything loads so, yeah normal.

Everything sounds about normal except the large amount of ram usage, unless you run like 40 chrome tabs in the background it shouldn't be that bad, unless Fifa17 actually takes like 10g of ram to run on higher settings maybe?

Sorry i realize i left out info.. even after startup and everything is loaded perfectly sometimes while playing a game like league of legends and just playing songs in the background the cpu load is shown to be at 89%.. and sometimes even at idle.. task manager shows the bulk of the power being taken up by msi active service X and logitech discord app. And yeah there's the RAM usages too.. also not sure if this is weird but task manager always shows one of my two hardrives always working at 100%..
