So it's a connected fitness watch...

How does it prevent batteries being thrown out? It still has a battery in it...

How does it do anything about the environmental damage of wasted heat? As they point out, Powerplants are a massive source of that, people aren't...

"The human body at rest generates 100W of heat" Okay, and you're collecting it off a patch that's what...

Spoiler

Radius of a 45mm watchface would be 22.5mm

3.14*22.4mm^2 = 7.06500×10^-5 m^2

average adult male has a surface area of 1.9m^2

(7.065x10^-5 m^2) / (1.9 m^2) = 0.00003718421

or 0.003718421%

Less than .01% of the person's body area...

Even assuming your body's heat concentration is evenly spread and that the wrist generates an equal ammount of heat (Spoiler, it doesn't), that's still about 3.718mW. But wait, that's heat energy and the conversion isn't going to be 100% efficient. Assuming they have an amazing technology that's a whopping 90% efficient, you're left with... 3.3mW at rest.

They're powering a watch with a screen, bluetooth, and a microcontroller capable of running their "microapplications" all off of 3.3mW?

I'll believe it when I see it...

I'd honestly think Peizoelectrics would be a better way to go for a watch like this than Thermoelectrics...

If it works like it's supposed to, it would be super cool!
