Hey All,

I'm in the process of making a sci-fi strategy game. The game is about 50% feature complete and is currently up and running at https://fleetwars.net. At the moment it is a browser game (because that is the development environment I was most familiar with a few years ago when I began the project). Now, I am looking to develop a fully featured version of the game in Unity. Most of the server side coding is already done so I'm not expecting development to take more than a year to complete.

My strengths are in UI design and coding. Unfortunately my artistic skills are lacking. That is why I have come here looking for help. To complete the game I need an artist to help me create assets. I am fairly flexible with the aesthetic of the game, but right now I am thinking of having a cell shaded look. So if there are any artists out there looking for a possibly profitable hobby I'd love to have someone to work with.

Now back to the "possibly profitable" bit I just mentioned. Since this is a hobby for myself and I don't have much disposable income to invest in the game, I won't be able to pay you a wage. However, I am more than willing to share a considerable percentage of the IP, meaning you will own and earn an income off that percentage of the game.

Feel free to private message or join the conversation below!

Thanks, Guy!

So the game is a persistent multiplayer turn based strategy game. The goal is to explore and take control of sectors. You do this by discovering/seizing planets in each sector. You can design different classes of ships using weapons you research. Then use these ships to attack and destroy other empires.

That is high level concept of the game. Of course there is a fully fleshed out empire, commander and planet levelling system as well of a bunch of other features.
