Excel numbers model

I have thousands of numbers in excel and I need to leave them in this specific way:
(xx) 9xxxx-xxxx
All the numbers in column number one are right ... so I think it's possible ..
Column two is all messed up ...
(xx)xxxx-xxxx
Xx xxxxxxxx
Xxxxxxxxxx
etc etc...
can any one help?

convert to csv file and create/run a powershell script then put it back to excel as csv is what i can think of right now
