I don't know if its just me being a moron.. But when you Put 2 SSD's in Raid, and 4 HDD's in Raid. Do I need a raid card??

Also which Raid # is better for which storage device?

Heres some vids.

Also don't worry, you can't know everything about tech, thats what this forum is for :)

Do you mean 2SSDS + 4HDD 's in raid or separate btw? just clarifying.

Also I don't know if you need a raid card or not (I don't know 100%) someone else will be along shortly with the answer most likely.

It depends on your motherboard, some can support that many drives by itself, many don't... Or don't do it well. Another option is to run the 2 RAID SSD's, install windows on them, then use Windows tor RAID the HDD's. Finally, it depends on what you are using the drives for as to what RAID config you use

I am good at computer

I feel that raid 0 is best for the SSD's but what raid would be recommended for four hdds?
