yoshiii

Hello,

I am building a pc for 3D design, graphic design, animation, rendering, content creation and gaming.

Until I am able to purchase a 1080Ti, would gpu's would be good to purchase until then?  I will run a 1440 monitor  27in at least.

id recommend the Gigabyte 1050 TI G1 Gaming edition, its not the best, but it's definitely worth it's price, and you get what you pay for,

but if you have a better budget, id suggest getting a 1060 ti or a 1070 ti,

i personally have the G1 gaming 1050 ti, and it serves me very well.

I thought the 1070's and 80's are hard to get because of bit mining?

the mining community is kinda weak atm, alot of gpu's are dropping in prices because of that

How long would you stay on that card? If you're okay with used, try finding cheap 980 or 980ti's.

970 could probably be sufficient, well depending on the games you play

The only GPU that will satisfy your needs on 1440p for these games are either GTX 1070 or 1060.

A 980 and 980ti would perform about the same as a 1060 and 1070. If you can find used for a cheap price it would great since it'll just be a replacement until you get your 1080ti. Maybe a 970 will also work(?) but don't expect 60fps on ultra.

It would be sufficient for games like starcraft and diablo but if you want to max out the witcher 3/gta 5 i think you would need a better card
