S7 edge wireless charging

I recently got a wireless charger for my phone to sit on my desk so i can keep it charge and not have to worry about wires, I haven't been using it too much due to a friend telling me its bad for the battery to keep taking it off and putting it back on, its not a dodgy third part one, its directly from samsung designed for the s7 edge

is my friend correct? or will it do no harm?

wireless charging creates more heat than using a normal cable would.

if you leave it charging at all times and never take it off, it can cause damage.

but just using it as you would a normal charger will be totally fine.
