I got a local sho to build it

Cool, so it's almost certainly not using proprietary stuff :)

I'd suggest the Intel build to save money and still get good performance.

The Ryzen build is more but offers some added futureproof-ness though.

Edit:

The Ryzen build also allows you to overclock in the future.

So I guess it would be up to you as to how much you want to invest :)

So How do find out iif it runs oem

 OEM? Like Windows?

Or a power supply and whatnot?

If you bought the parts and had someone assemble them and didn't buy it from a manufacturer like Dell or someone, then it's not OEM parts :)

Ah, yah.

I checked the model of the board, it's a standard board with standard connectors on it so you don't need to worry about it being OEM.

Easiest way is:

Did you build it yourself or buy it from somewhere? Like Dell, HP, etc?

Yah, it's the one thing I hate about super budget builds and suggestions. You want to go with the H110 but the BIOS is a tossup :(

Yeah, but the  G4400 is also a choice, a couple euro cheaper and works perfectly well with the H110

Either can provide good options.

The Intel build is cheaper but provides comparable performance although there is no overclocking and less of an upgrade path.

The Ryzen build will offer maybe slightly more performance and a longer upgrade path along with the ability to overclock.

Now that i think about it, it might be hard for a beginner to install windows on it- and probably the cpu is most important for him.

Yah, that's true.

If he's not sure where they Windows key is then it would be a huge pain.
