Hello,

Im looking at SSD's to use for editing video projects from. I have a GH5 that shoots 4K 10-Bit Footage so fast storage is must. I have a 240GB PCIe M.2 SSD I use for boot and my Adobe software and another Samsung 120GB Sata SSD I use for a scratch disk I was going to buy a 500GB SSD as I don't think a single project would exceed this and when it's done I'll transfer it all over to my NAS to archive it. I then had the thought of getting 2 x 250GB SSDs and put them in RAID 0 and I would have my 500GB but it would be theoretically twice as fast and only costing about £20 more. Is this a good idea or is there any downsides to this?

Thanks,

Alistair
