bios last modified freezes

using asus prime  z270k when i set x.m.p in bios and re enter bios and click on show last modifed bios freezes.other than that problem everything works fine.did any of you guys had the same problem.(is this a common problem?)when the freeze happens i just restart the pc and it runs fine.
