SSD + HDD raid help

never tried using raid before and i wanted to know if i could use my SSD 59gb and my HDD 465gb in raid 1? if i could do this will i be able to use the speed from my SSD and the storage of my HDD? if so how can i set this up?

i actually did this and benchmarked it but i lost the post.

Writes were the speed of HDD and reads were only a little but higher than what you would expect with two HDD in raid1.

So dont do it.

but im using a SSD  i want the speed from the ssd and the space from the hdd
