So my computer of over 5 years old that I built as my first desktop gaming computer has finally died, so it's time for an upgrade. There is a $2,000 limit for this computer, I still need a new monitor to go with it, preferably a nice 4K one, but because those are so pricey, we will leave those out of the build. Now the computer will be used for gaming as well as virtual reality using some kind of device, I haven't decided which VR support to get, but I can worry about that later. So to reiterate, a $2,000 limit on a desktop gaming computer that can support 4K resolution and a 4K monitor I will get later on as well as a VR headset, any suggestions on these items would be helpful. Let me know if you have any questions, thanks guys.

I went for a more stealth look rather than rgb centered. If you're interested in rgb and/or want a specific color theme I can make modifications.

What case, cpu and storage did the old system have. If any of that can be reused, there is more budget for other stuff.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

You could also consider the phanteks p400s instead and then use the $40 saved on a bigger ssd. Hell, a p400s may be a better option since it supports aura sync so it can sync with your mobo, ram, and gpu.
