Our own Mining Pool?

Is LTT/LMG going to be creating it's own Mining pool anytime soon?

 

I'd really like that, and hey you guys could make some money off of it too?

 

Just an idea i thought of.

Nope, it's been brought up a few times.

 

Simply put hosting our own pool requires a fair bit of man power to maintain it, and most of all, we don't have the hashrate capable of running an efficient pool. I would say for LTC, we would need a minimum combined 50 M/hash.

I'd also suggest that any pool for LTT/LMG would be a high donation % and not one designed around profits alone.

 

It's much easier to join one of the many great pools which offer redundant servers around the world along with strong ddos protection.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
Users cannot, and will not securely manage key material. Most users can't and the ones that can, wont.

Ask me about Bitcoin, Litecoin, Crypto-Currencies, and/or Mining them.
