Wasn't Ryzen having issues with 3200MHz memory? It's a simple test, but you can lower that down in BIOS to around ~2900 or so and give the game a test.

There is always the typical options... verify the installation or just re-download the game.

I can try that, but my system passes 1hour of mem test. I have verified the game files and am currently re downloading the game.

Intel HD graphics. xd. Thats why I have a desktop. I use my laptop for taking notes at school and nothing else.

Not expecting it to run well, but I want to see if I can get it to load.

I've watched the 1st hour (ish) of gameplay, and it looks like fun. Not really alot to the story, but free-roam destruction can't really go wrong.

Do you have GeForce Experience and is the shadowplay feature on? If it is, make sure you disable it, it won't start Just Cause 3 with in enabled.

Thanks for the suggestion, but sadly, no luck, with geforce experience (shadow play enabled and disabled) or without geforce experience. I installed it today, as someone said that launching that game from geforce experience solved the problem (it didn't.)

I have also tried both versions of the nvidia drivers available for my video card, 375.70 and 382.33.

Sorry, no luck. I tried alt-tabbing with the config files (located in documents folder) deleted, edited and unedited.

I currently have nvidia driver 382.33 installed, without geforce experience.

Just thought I would let you know, it turned out to be an audio config issue with direct x. No games were getting sound, but VLC and chrome worked fine. I reinstalled the audio drivers, and that sorted it everything.

FYI: Don't bother contacting square enix support, they are utterly, utterly useless. All they told me to do was verify the game and reinstall steam and the game. Then they sent me an email saying "Thanks for bringing this to our attention, it will be forwarded to the appropriate party" Upon inquiring further, I was resent exactly the same email asking to reinstall the game.
