So I'm having an issue with my pc. Q-code 8

Everything works fine.

Gaming

Boots up (kinda) whenever the pc boots up I get a cpu header not plugged in but it is plugged in and temps are normal

I go into the bios and exit and pc boots up normally

As soon as I stress the pc

Whether is streaming or a test

Computer crashes and I get q-code 8

Cpu fan header issue

My temperatures are about 40-50 while gaming.

Components

1700 r7

Crosshair hero VI

Dominator platinum 3000mhz

Asus 1080 tI

X52 kraken aio

I have the stock cooler to test if I need it

I just have no idea why the pc crashes

And I get that q-code

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Thank you

Check the manual for your mobo what Q-code 8 means. What I think might be happening is that you have your aio plugged into the cpu fan header, that can sometimes cause issues, try plugging in a fan to the cpu fan header, and the aio somewhere else. If this is not the case, you can turn off no CPU_FAN no boot (whatever you call it) to stop it from preventing your system from booting. Make sure the pump is actually running. Might not be.

CPU: Intel Core I7 7700K & Corsair H100i v2
Mobo: Asus Maximus IX Hero
RAM: 32 Gigs @ 3000Mhz, Corsair Dominator Platinum
GPU: Asus Strix 1080 A8G
Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 500gb
PSU: Corsair HX750i
Case: Fractal Design Define S
