VAC Authentication Disconnect

My computer randomly disconnects me from Valve Anti Cheat servers for some reason. I've done everything it says on the steam page and it still keeps on happening. I keep on taking bans for days and weeks, I have no clue what to do. Can anyone help me???

usually that doesn't ban you it just kicks you from the game until you get it fixed, reinstall the game and if that fails maybe reinstall steam

my friend had to flush dns through cmd

he isnt talking about a vac ban he was probably playing csgo or something, if that issue arises during warmup you get a matchmaking cooldown

no I think he's talking about a thing that happens sometimes,. you start up any game thats VAC protected and it says you have an authentication error and then it makes you quit the game. its not a ban its just telling you something is wrong with VAC and its not authenticating.

 

oh i see you mean it makes him close his game in a game and gives him a comp cooldown
