Fps Issues

Hello guys, 

My rig consists of an asrock h97 anniversary edition mobo, Thermaltake Hamburg 530W Power Supply, 8gb DDR3 RAM, palit gtx 1070 8gb, I5 4460 3.2GHz, samsung ssd 850 evo and 1Tb HDD. The Monitor is a 2k 60Hz Asus panel.

I've recently had some fps issues with some games i.e. Mass Effect Andromeda,  running at 35-40 fps on Ultra Settings. I've made some research and I read that maybe this problem is due to the amount of RAM, but I'm not sure about that.

What can you tell me?

I doubt the issues are graphics card related, as you have a 1070, which should crush all games at 1080p. Are you gaming in 2160p/4K? If not, a RAM upgrade to 16GB will likely make a difference.
