I had a customer bring in an Elitebook with a bad board so they donated the laptop, the CPU was a 3940XM which is what I also have currently in my 8570w. I was thinking about swapping this CPU with my current one and overclocking it. Does anyone have experience with these chips and overclocking?

I was thinking about starting with 4.0ghz and maybe going to a max of 4.3, the only concern I have is cooling. I upgraded my HFS to the best FRU compatible part, but along with that I upgraded to a K2000M which runs slightly warner than the stock GPU.

CPU: i7-4770k @4.8ghz---Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth z97---Ram 32gb Corsair Vengeance---GPU: 2 EVGA GTX 980 4gb way sli---Case: Corsair 600T White---Storage: 500gb 850 Pro & WD Black 4tb---PSU: Corsair RM1000
