Not going to get much for that, you need a new GPU and CPU. If you get a new CPU you need a new motherboard and RAM, but if you get a new GPU your CPU is too slow to keep up. You are in a catch 22 here man. Wait a little longer and save up around 500, then you will have options

What is your storage device? Also you should invest in a new keyboard that has a working shift or caps lock key.

Your gpu is perfectly fine, but you asked for more fps, which would collide with your gpu.

It seems that with your motherboard you have the best CPU you can have, so you may need to invest another motherboard. I would make another thread for that.

But then he's buying old hardware

So? High end Maxwell can still max out every AAA game 60fps flawlessly.

Not everyone has money to spend on a computer. Really even a 4th gen Intel cpu is better than what he has now.

Believe it or not, used stuff actually isn't all that much cheaper. You can get over $300 for a used 4790K right now. And that is a 3 year old CPU.

Well becase that CPU is still comparable to today's cpus.

And 275 is the sweet spot for a 4790k

Not in the U.S. That only runs you $60-$70 here

I guess they have gone down since a few weeks ago. But still $65 for 8gb is too much, half that for ddr3.

Besides he can only spend $100 so he can get like a 240gb SSD to help and that's it
