So i had a laptop that stopped working so i took out the Hard Drive, and put it in my new computer. I figured out how to actually see what's on the drive, but now i don't know how to access the files. Things like Pictures, mp3 files and documents.

You're in the wrong partition. Did the main partition not mount? Maybe it wasn't assigned a letter. What does Disk Management look like?

found the problem. Complete moron moment. I didn't notice an E: Drive spawned with all my files...
