Looking for a mid-range tablet

Greetings. I'm looking for a tablet in the 250-300EUR range, to be used mainly for watching movies and browsing the internet.

I've been looking at the available options and I'm torn apart between these two:

  • Huawei Mediapad M3 : kirin 950, 4GB RAM, 32GB storage, 2560 x 1600 8.4" display, really great speakers
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 VE: Snapdragon 652, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, 2048 x 1536 8" display

Any thoughts?

I also don't know if 8" might be too small for video playback and if I should be looking for a 10" tablet instead.

i5 4670k @ 4.2GHz (Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo); ASrock Z87 EXTREME4; 8GB Kingston HyperX Beast DDR3 RAM @ 2133MHz; Asus DirectCU GTX 560; Super Flower Golden King 550 Platinum PSU;1TB Seagate Barracuda;Corsair 200r case.
