Cleaning Tips?

So Im a definite tech newbie, and Ive had my GTX 970 Reference Card for over a year now and I think its time I cleaned it out. Any tips for me? I do not have compressed air, all I have with me is thermal paste, alcohol, cloth and my trusty set of tools. xP Thanks

Thats all I need? Another issue is, I am so afraid Ill ruin my card while taking it apart and putting it back haha

If you dont have the confidence to do a simple task as to take the plastic shit off the gpu and clean it, then I am sorry I dont know what else to tell you. You gotta remember what 8 mini bolts

Agreew with the others. Disassemble and use a toothbrush to clean it the fins. Repaste and reassemble. Disaster is super cheap. Otherwise physical force will be required to disassemble and clean.

I mean its a blower style card so I understand if it runs a little hot, recently reaching 85 Celsius under full load so its starting to worry me.
