Hello guys I've got an issue with my pfsense box and my router WiFi. I've got a WRT-160n running DDW-RT. What I've done is I've got 4 port network card installed into the pfsense box. Adapter 1 is my "private" network and Adapter 2 I set up for public WiFi. The issue is that I get no internet connectivity on the WiFi side but I can access the internet from the LAN side. I've set the firewall rules and I can access the internet from both networks.

Private network is using the 172.16.105.x network and the public WiFi is using the 10.100.200.x network.

So Adapter 2 is connected to the LAN port of the WRT-160n and also my desktop is connected to the LAN port of the router.

Network 2 is the "private"

Network 3 is the "public"

Please Help. :(

Do you have the WRT-160n running in bridged / Access point only mode? If you have net plugged into your DMZ then it's very likely your AP.

It's set as an AP and it's bridged.

Are you able to make port 3 the same DMZ / WIFI port and then plug your machine into it? Look for it in your DHCP server to see where it comes online at, or if it's set statically try pinging it / looking for it in the ARP stack.

If you're able to log into it with your computer while it's plugged into your pfsense router, attempt to ping outside the network to verify you're getting internet connectivity. If you're good on all fronts then you may have a troubled config setting preventing your AP from bridging to your DMZ.

Is the WRT-160n on separate interface in pfSense configuration? If yes, you need to configure the firewall to allow traffic to and from that interface.
