600-700 dollar budget build PC (United States)

Hello, this is actually my very first time building my own PC! I am a complete noob but I have done research and watched linus tech tip videos on YouTube to know some basics to pick the right parts(hopefully...) Please help me out (general advice) and peripherals. I am a complete beginner feel free to roast me if I am doing this completely wrong lol.

Aim: Overall general daily activity use (coding, streaming, homework, engineering hw etc) as well as not too shabby gaming PC. For gaming  I can accept games at medium settings with 60 fps and above for games but honestly although I am not a huge gamer I would love to play games at really high settings  if my budget allows.

Monitor: Going to be most likely be using one monitor or two at most but have not decided on monitors yet. (anything with 1080p and above at 60hertz is fine but better is always better :)

Here are the Specs

Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-B250M-DS3H (rev. 1.0) LGA 1151 Intel B250 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard  -- ($70) (newegg)

CPU: Intel Core i5-7400 Kaby Lake Quad-Core 3.0 GHz LGA 1151 65W BX80677I57400 Desktop Processor --($190) (newegg)

Ram: 8 gb ram Ballistix Sport LT 8GB Single or (4gb x 2) same price DDR4 2400 MT/s (PC4-19200) DIMM 288-Pin - BLS8G4D240FSB (Gray)  ---- ($60) (amazon)

Hard-drive: WD Blue 1TB SATA 6 Gb/s 7200 RPM 64MB Cache 3.5 Inch Desktop Hard Drive (WD10EZEX) ---- ($49.99)   I actually don't need this much storage. I thought 500gb harddrives would be cheaper than 1tb but it turns out on many websites that 1tb and 500 gb drives costs about the same.(amazon)

Case/Fan: (I put these altogether because on Amazon you can buy a bundle with cheap? price)

Corsair Carbide Series 270R - Mid-Tower ATX Case, Windowed Case and Corsair Air Series AF120 LED Quiet Edition High Airflow Fan Single Pack - RED --- ($90) (amazon)

GPU: ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Mini, 4GB GDDR5 DisplayPort 128-bit Gaming Graphic Card (ZT-P10510A-10L) ---($155) (amazon)

PSU: Now this is the part I have no idea how to choose. Please help me out I have no idea what power wattage to choose from or what power supplies are reliable/cheap.

P.S: So far if everything goes as planned(no compatibility issue, price stays the same) , my PC build without the PSU is at about $614-615. Also if you see anything stupid on my build please point out or even roast me. Learning experience is always appreciated as this is my first time ever building my own pc! I did look in to Pentium G4560 btw but my friends have suggested me to go with 7th gen i5 processor instead for the long run.

1. Why bother with an i5 when Ryzen 5 1400 can kick it in the balls when it comes to value.

2. SSD is important. I suggest you pick one up even if that means going cheap on the case (but not the rest of the build)

I little bit over the budget, but you can always add another 8GB later down the line.

If you don't have enough for this build you could not buy a SSD and just get it later on.
