Hello everyone,

Recently, about 6 days ago my phone's battery died while I was on vacation, at first I thought the charger was faulty, since it refused to work afterwards, but after buying a new charger (which was working in the store, with another phone) my phone wouldn't even turn on anymore (before using the new charger it was not turning on anyways), and before that the battery was about ~26%.

After arriving home, the phone still doesn't turn on and the battery seems to be fully dead. I went to a phone service but since this is kind of a no-name phone, there are no replacement batteries for it, so here's my idea.

Would it work, if I were to use an other battery, with the same voltage and attach wires to the +/- connectors, and the other end to the phone's connectors? And then try turning it on, it wouldn't matter if it could only work for a few minutes since I just need to save my pictures and do a full reset, afterwards the phone would get thrown out in the trash, where it belongs. xD

Inlcuded is a picture (drawn beautifully in Paint to demonstrate)

Would it need anything else to work? Like a resistor or anything?

Thanks for the help
