Intels NICs and 10 gigabit network

Is it really worth getting a nic and setup upto 10 gigabit network for like nas/home-server or for small business.

As long as you see no bottle-neck with the internet plan, I'd say yes. You can get 10gb nics for about $100 says eric on this thread:

If you do something like this, make sure you have enough NICs for the computers you want to support, and of course most likely a switch to connect them all to your WHS.

It depends on your usage. For the average person/small business, no it's not typically important enough to justify the cost.

I don't think that you will have any use for it, you'll most like have HDD bottleneck, and your definitely have internet bottleneck (unless your running Google Fibre or some crazy stuff)
