O rings and backlighting?

Just a quick query as to whether using rubber o rings on my keyboard (k70) would interfere with the back lighting? do any of you use o rings on a backlit keyboard?

They do make clear ones, but colored o rings shouldn't make a difference since it's not directly in front if the led.

 

My tenkeyless spare board has clear o rings and backlighting doesn't look any different than without. The feel on the otherhand is noticeable.
