I just feel i'm unlucky, used them and they all failed but I have used plenty of Antec's Basiq PSUs and they have worked 100%

Kinda funny.. Those PSU's are pretty terrible and shouldn't be recommended.

my suggestion would be to upgrade to a core 2 quad first and i honestly don't know about the graphics card you should use but, as said above a 750 would be good because some variants of it don't need external power.. i still use a core 2 quad q9450 + gtx 1050 setup and it runs my games on 1366x768 with about 40-60 fps depending on the game.. so i think just save up to get a sandy bridge system

Yeah but I mean, for what the Basiq is marketed as, its meant to be used in a low end low power PC/HTPC and it works great for that

For gaming; Go for Tier 3 and up.

But I mean in the end I'm a sucker for Antec products xD That's why my parent's new PC is gonna be a Antec Sonata Proto case, Antec Basiq PSU and and cute lil Antec fan in the back xD

for your rig, replace the pentium with a core 2 quad and find a used low-profile gtx 750/ti/gt 1030 or gtx 1050/ti if you can afford it.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

You can get a 750TI for cheaper then a GT 1030 and it beats it into the ground, never buy a GT 1030
