AOC E1659FWU using main display passthrough?

Does anybody know for sure if an AOC E1659FWU display will work if you plig it into the USB passthrough of an Asus PQ278QR? The AOC monitor reqires USB 3.0, and teh Asus monitor has those, but I just want to make sure there isnt some funky thing with the passthrough ports that would cause it to not work. Thanks

Yes it will.

Great little monitor for travel. Low res, colors ok for document work, portrait mode just looks like shit though.

Silent build - You know your pc is too loud when the deaf complain. Windows 98 gaming build, smells like beige

Does it look that bad? I was wanting it in portrait mode specifically for document reading and reducing footprint. Do you think the extra cost for the 1080p version would be worth it?

it's the tn panel and way they've implemented the polarizing filter on the screen. I've seen the asus one and its much better.

If for a desktop, why not just buy normal a monitor?

if you do get one get the displaylink drivers from their not the AOC site or the disc. Only place with the actual w10 drivers.

I have limited desk space and it will also double as a second screen for my laptop when I travel.

Do you know how that cover/stand on the Asus holds up when in portrait orientation?
