We got a 4K 70 inch tv with a Samsung blu ray player as the receiver and got a surround sound system, but audio isn’t Surround, even when we watch video recorded with surround sound it won’t work, all the speakers work but no surround, and when we go to the receiver itself and press the test button, only two speakers work and the right speaker audio comes out of the center speaker, we have all the connections in properly, please help

My guess would be that the Samsung Blue-Ray player doesn't have its audio configuration set up right. Try and change its audio output to 5.1, 7.1, or whatever kind of surround sound system you have set up.

I went through all the settings and couldn’t find one about 5.1 surround or anything, but what troubles me the most is that when I do the speaker test the left front works fine, the center test doesn’t have any audio, and the right front  test works but comes out of the center speaker and then the rest make no noise

We have a Sony Blu-Ray an DVD player hooked up to a surround sound system in our family room, similar to your situation. In our setup, we have the speaker cables hooked into the SPDIF jacks (about 5 or 6 total to create 5.1 surround) in the back of the system. How are your speaker cables hooked up? HDMI cable(s), SPDIF cables, etc.

The speakers that are working, are they part of the TV or part of the surround system? You may also need another amplifier or whatever (not exactly great on high-end audio equipment) to split your audio data from your video data. The speakers that are working, are they part of the TV or part of the surround system? If they're part of the TV, then it's likely that you'll need an amplifier to split the data.

We don’t use any tv audio, All audio comes out of the surround sound speakers, and the speakers are all plugged in using colored plugs that plug into the blu ray player and then the blu ray player connects through HDMI (ARC) on the tv IMG_6102.thumb.JPG.191e751b8279c2e139f4a2d1738b1ec8.JPGIMG_6098.thumb.JPG.a3b0d6a31fa8cb28a373f3b92ca0e631.JPGIMG_6101.thumb.JPG.f4d9cabd2699dbaa1bcc42a74b4ec283.JPG

I know you mentioned that you looked through the manual before on how to change the audio settings, but see if there's a way to make sure that the Blu-Ray player isn't attempting to send the audio through the HDMI cable to the TV. You could test this if you have another display with speakers that has an HDMI connection.

Does the display support surround sound at all?
