Well I welcome you here to the forum.

Thats a good build. Although you might want to consider also a Corsair RM Series PSU due to it being fully modular. Whats your budget? What's your use for this PC?

Side note: grab a 7970 not a 280x. They are the same card, but 7970 gets gold prizes where 280x get silver, if im not mistaken. Extra free game cant hurt.

P.S. Yes I know the 7970 is more expensive, but I dont trust anybody but Sapphire when it comes to AMD aftermarket coolers >_> a 7970 had an extra free game that comes with it, but if you dont care about that game a 280x can be put in its place.

770 is a distinct possibility, I didnt put it because when I do a build I generally dont question whether the OP is on green or red team. Whatever they put in their original build, AMD or Nvidia, I put the option for. Best to not start a war.

And grats of past 100 milestone, I passed it tonight myself as well!

Not trying to start a war either. But in my opinion NVIDIA has got the whole package deal (software and hardware wise)

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/28Po4 here is an nvidia option

I don't know if I might be bias to MSI, but what about the MSI GTX 770 Twin Frozer version? I just love their cooling system.

I see your point but AMD also has a lot to offer, lets try to be objective.

MSI Twin Frozer is one hell of a card, so is the Asus card. They are both badass WOOHOO! When you reach that level of cooling you can actually chose based on how you think the card looks. They are interchangeable, to be based on what the person thinks of the appearance.

Either way, you can't go wrong with either card. What about the MSI Afterburner and Gaming Application?

You can use afterburner regardless of your aftermarket cooler, it is completely unrelated.

*Head to desk* -_- Well that's something I should of known.

Ah fair enough! I'm actually using it right now with dual gtx 470s, an EVGA and a Zotac :P

P.S. over 100 posts and junior member woohoo!

I personally don't use the Afterburner. I just use the Gaming App because I'm not familiar with OC a GPU.

Also congrats to Junior Member Status.

You should not leave the 8350 with a stock cooler.

What parts do you already have?

Are you only limited to newegg?

I'm guessing you're only just learning animation or for a hobby?
