HDD Disk initialization

To initialize a disk that was recently reformatted follow these steps

 

1. Press the windows key and type in diskmgmt.msc you should get something looking like this

2. Once you have that open, select the drive you are looking for, and right click. Press the format button. Note and and all data on the drive will not exist after this. 

3. Once that is done it should show up in file explorer.
