Hi guys. So I have recently gotten my NZXt Kraken x60 and decided to overclock my CPU at 4.2GHz with a VCore at 1.173. I was wondering how good my CPU (Meaning how did I do for silicone lottery)? Should I overclock it even more? I'm a little scared that in a year or so it would break on me.

it seems alright. Stay below 1.3v and 85c and just push it to what it can take.

What would you suggest for a starter on 4.4GHz for VCore?

Keep the v-core where it is now, then see if it's stable.  If not, increase from there, but don't go higher than 1.3.

Desktop: Intel Core i7-6700K, ASUS Z170-A, ASUS STRIX GTX 1080 Ti, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 512 GB Samsund 840 Pro, Seasonic X series 650W PSU, Fractal Design Define R4, 2x5TB HDD

Hypervisor 1: Intel Xeon E5-2630L, ASRock EPC612D8, 16GB DDR4 ECC RAM, Intel RT3WB080 8-port RAID controller plus expansion card, Norco RPC-4020 case, 20x2TB WD Red HDD

Other spare hypervisors: Dell Poweredge 2950, HP Proliant DL380 G5

Set voltage to the max voltage you're comfortable with, raise the clocks until it's unstable or your temperature is too high. Now you know your maximums.

From there you can set to desired clock and reduce voltage to have most efficient voltage to clock ratio and ideal temperatures.

Error: 410

Is it stable to overclock under 1.3 volts for long periods of time?

The best overclock on a 4770K that I have seen is a 4.6Ghz at 1.2v so your overclock on your 4670K isn't bad. I would also recommend you to not use Prime95 because it is not validated for Haswell. I would either use AIDA64 for a couple of hours and Intel XTU for 24 hours for stability test.
