Looking for UPS

I'm looking for a UPS that will run this build at about 1/2 load for 20min+

1.2  - 1.5 KVA should be enough. and if you wanna further extend the battery life in the future, you can always add more batteries in parallel to the ones installed.

As for the brand, it depends on whats available in your place, I've always had a good luck with Maxma/Maxima UPS which will cost around 50$.

Thank you! How would I go about hooking them up in parallel?

lets say it comes with 2x12V batts(in series = 24v effectively) so you can increase the capacity by creating more banks of 2x12v batts where each bank contains (2x12v batteries in series).

This method would increase the charging time required to fill up those batteries because although they will charge with the same voltage as before adding newer batteries, the current has to split across them so theoretically if your UPS comes with 2 batts and you added 4 more, that will give you 3x times the capacity and 3x the time to fill them up.
