Does anyone know if with the new AGESA 1.0.0.6 there is possible to have 4 RAM sticks with decent frequency?

For example ... if you can use 2x 8GB sticks at 3200MHz now, would it also work at 3200MHz if I buy additional 2 RAM sticks? Surely I would go with the exact same RAM.

Just not sure if that problem with 4 DIMMs is fixed already with AGESA 1.0.0.6, or we will have to wait for another AGESA update.

Anyone here running 4 RAM sticks? What frequency and CL are you running it?

yeah b die single side should do 3200c16 or c14 with 4 dimms at 32gb. not sure about 64gb.

It really depends on the CPU's IMC. While most can get to 2933 or higher, some are rubbish and don't go over 2666 MHz with 2 single rank sticks. The IMC gets put under a lot of stress with additional dimms and will limit the frequency (even more with dual rank dimms), although depending on how good the CPU is, you might be stuck at 2133, or you could be lucky and be able to run at 3200. There are no guarantees.

Yeah I get that, but if I can currently run 2 ram sticks at 3200MHz CL16, I hope with 4 sticks I would be able to run at least at 2933.

Hopefully it will run on at least 2933MHz 32GB. Should be more than enough for now.
