I have SkullCandy Hesh 2 Wireless headphones and have worked through the main jacks that came with it and 2 other 3.5mm jacks that i bought.

But for some reason they'll be fine for 2-4 months, and then will only play audio through the left ear, forcing me to use the wireless battery and missing out on the wired extras like messing around with the equalizer for personalized audio, among others.
Is there a reason why this happens?

If they work wirelessly I would imagine that there is nothing wrong with the internal components such as the drivers, sounds like either the jack, or the cable have failed. Try a different cable to see if that clears it up, if it does not - you may need to return them for repair/replacement.

The last cables I used fixed the problem for 2 months or so,then they stopped playing through the right ear.
I think It's the jack going into the headphones, because nothing is wrong with my computer or phone and they work with other headphones respectively.
