New build using MSI B350M motherboard Ryzen 1600 and EVGA supernova 550 G2. Initially breadboarded the build and got a CPU EZ debug LED, removed cpu and noticed 3 stightly bent pins. Managed to straighten them, but got a small amount of thermal paste on the underside of the CPU, carefully removed it using a toothpick and a Q-tip dipped in acetone, allowed it to dry for about 30 minutes. Breadboarded again and everything worked perfectly, installed windows and drivers, played games for about 4 hours then went to bed. Rig wouldn't start this morning, breadboarded again. Won't start at all with just CPU PSU and mobo outside of case, starts without CPU giving CPU warning LED, tried resetting CMOS with no success. I'm thinking its likely the CPU due to my screwups! Really not sure what I should do at this point, any advice would be much appreciated.

Check the socket on the MoBo, maybe some pins are blocked due to some leftover thermal paste.

Yep socket seems all clean, only got it on the edge/pins at the edge

Doesnt turn on at all with CPU in socket, case fans turn on without CPU, dont really want to go near it with a graphics card right now
