GPU sagging

So i have around a cm of GPU sag. just from putting the screw in its little holding bracket too high. could that ammount of sag kill my graphics card. (EVGA 1060 sc 6 gb)

I don't think the sag would kill the gpu, maybe damage the pcie slot. You can buy a bracket that screws in to a pci slot.

its been running fine for a week or so which is all the time that i have had it installed. how long would it take to hurt a pcie slot

Should be fine if it isn't too much. If you're worried put something under it or hang it from a string
