Make sure you're not installing the BETA Drivers, as I did that last week for my streaming pc connected to my tv and it kept flashing black and white. I uninstalled all the AMD drivers and searched drivers from a month ago and everything worked fine.

Hope that helps buddy!

so just an update for you guys. i had a old HD5750 lying around so i installed it with drivers and works perfectly

although i cant run at 1080p anymore it should last till i can aquire a better GPU. just weird how the R9 270x kept crashing as im installing the drivers. i have tryed the whole day downloading differant driver for the stupid GPU but yeh i am almost certain its the card that has tanked in some way

anyway thanks for all the help appreciate it.
