PC Chassis

Hello everyone,

I am thinking about getting a Fractal Define R5 or a Define XL R2 (I like the extra space)

Do you have any suggestions for a similar and better case?

if you like space then the Corsair Carbide Series Air 540 might be a good choice, it was the roomiest computer i have built in, and makes for a very clean showcase setup.. it is however a tad big.. and cubey..

Have you tried to perform a sudden temporary interrupt of the electricity flow to your computational device followed by a re-initialization procedure of the central processing unit and associated components?

Personal Rig Specs

Spoiler

CPU: Intel Core i7-7700K @ 4.8GHZ

RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX Black DDR4 2x8GB @ 3GHZ

(seagates are originally external drives removed from casing and installed internally)
PSU: Seasonic Prime Titanium 850W

Space for watercooling and drives, but I might put a disc drive or Controllers

if you can, find it in a computer store so you can scale the size.. the 540 is about a fractal design r5 and a half in width, and a about a normal midi tower in height.. the "half" is a huge area for you to put stuff to hide away, and it has excellent cable managing making for a very clean build

the 540 was almost too roomy, i can only imagine how roomy a 740 is :P
