Just wondering what the program or programs are for looking at drive status. Crystal DiskMark or something? Something about sectors? I don't remember.

install it, run it, select whichever drive you want to see the SMART status for and look at Reallocated Sector Count to see the number of bad sectors

Where exactly? It just displays that the health status is 100%, which it's not.

SSD... Solid State Drive................

 

Wtf? Apparently they have a thing called Corsair SSD Toolbox. It has a secure erase function as well.

when i hear drive i think of hdds. Should have asked. Crystaldisk is wonky on ssds. Shows my intel 535 as being at 1% health and intel's utility shows it at 92%
