The G933 is worth every penny in my opinion. (I own one) Your friends headset is dying all the time probably because he has some crazy lighting effect. The G933 gives you a 12-13 hour battery life with no lighting effects. It can also be used as a wired headset through the included 2.3 meter charging cable or a 3.5mm audio jack without your EQ and all that. Also you can save your EQ and lighting profiles directly on the headset memory. and you can cycle through them on the go as long as the heatset is powered on. The G933 also has amazing sound out of the box, but you can adjust it.

TL;DR: Great headset, 12hr battery life with no lighting, worth every penny, save settings on the headset.

IF you are going to spend money on a headset at that pricepoint I would highly recommend dealing with the wires and going with a Sennheiser game zero:

Superior Sound stage; superior mic; Sennheiser brand

Don't forget to quote me (or someone else), otherwise we aren't going to receive your answers...
