Asus Poseidon Aura Doesn't work

I just got a Poseidon 1080 Ti however no version of Aura will work let alone start. They all say errors along the lines of your GPU does not support RGB lighting. Newer versions say "Non-AURA" and older versions say "The system doesn't support LED functions!". I though it was a Windows bug so I re-installed windows but that still did not fix it. Next I reset my BIOS as some people said that helped them. This also did nothing. I am out of ideas on what the problem could be. Any ideas or suggestions are welcome. My PC has an i7 6800k 32gb ram and a Rampage V Extreme.
