Nvidia Free Game Question

Just ordered a 1080ti on amazon but the stock level changed last minute and I probably won't get it until after 2 days after the destiny 2 promotion ends. The new way to get promo items from nvidia consists of installing the gpu and opening geforce experience, so does that mean if I don't install it before the promo ends I won't get the game? It says it is based on when the gpu was purchased, so maybe you still get it after the date. Don't know if anyone has ever had experience with the new way it works yet, so I guess this probably won't have an answer XDD

there's an expiration date for when you can redeem the promo, which is separate from the end date which you can get the promo

It says codes expire July 31st but it also says "while supplies last", which I'm assuming is a lie because I've never heard of them running out of the free games for promotions. Hopefully it is or I'm gonna REEEEEEEEEEEE, thanks buddies.

yup. it's just a clause to save their ass in case something happens.

Easiest way to confirm would be to contact NVidia. If you give proof of purchase and show shipping issues I'm sure they would work with you to try and keep a customer.

Already contacted them but I haven't received a response yet so I thought someone might have an answer on here. July 31st seems to be the deadline to install it and redeem by so should be good.

To be fair that's ' while stocks lasts isn't a lie ' as when they had a free game option couple months ago you could choose wildlands or for honor and I know a few couldn't choose wildlands as demand had sucks them dry of codes

This promotion is only available for the 1080 and 1080ti, so I'm assuming a lot less will be needed compared to that promotion. Waiting for a response from nvidia atm, but it should be fine.

This was only on 1080s couple months ago

It was for 1060, 1070, 1080, and 1080ti purchases.
