hardrive noises

ok this is a 8/9 months old hard drive by Samsung and is making a lot of noise i would have rma it but there is a lot of data on it and i do not own an external one so is there any thing i can do to fix it ?>

CPU: Fx 8350 | CPU Cooler: Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo Now  AMD STOCK CPU COOLER | Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3 (rev 1.1)   NOW MSI 990FXA-GD80 | Ram: Corsair Vengence 8GB DDR3 Motherboard detects 7gb for some weird reason | Graphics Card: SAPPHIRE HD 7870 GHz Edition 2GB GDDR5 |  HDD: 1 TB samsung 

 

Case: CM elite 310 | Monitor: Aoc e2050S

 

 

OS: Windows 8 Professional 64 Bit NOW  Wndows 10 Professional 64 Bit

 

 Power Supply: Cooler Master Thunder 500W NOW GX 650W v2

what type of noise?

Find a drive and make a backup ASAP.  Then I would RMA the drive.

Desktop: Intel Core i7-6700K, ASUS Z170-A, ASUS STRIX GTX 1080 Ti, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 512 GB Samsund 840 Pro, Seasonic X series 650W PSU, Fractal Design Define R4, 2x5TB HDD

Hypervisor 1: Intel Xeon E5-2630L, ASRock EPC612D8, 16GB DDR4 ECC RAM, Intel RT3WB080 8-port RAID controller plus expansion card, Norco RPC-4020 case, 20x2TB WD Red HDD

Other spare hypervisors: Dell Poweredge 2950, HP Proliant DL380 G5

Laptops: ThinkPads, lots of ThinkPads

Buy a cheap backup drive and RMA it. It may not even last long enough to back it up if it is making that much noise.

Upgrade Plan: Acquire some Black Noctuas then add 16 or 32GB of 2133MHz memory

nope but it happens on random times and for like 10 seconds or so kind of similar to scratching but very loud
