Hey guys so I need some honest advice about whats better for me to purchase.

I'm currently looking at buying an intel 7600k however I have been told that a Ryzen chip might be better for my needs.

I was wondering what you guys thought on the subject.

The rest of my specs are as follows: 8gb corsair vengance lpx RAM @2133mhz; MSI GTX 1060 3gb and a 240gb SSD.

Any questions feel free to ask, and thanks in advance.

Definitely go for R5 1600. you get a free cooler, and it's much cheaper than the 7600k. BTW, have you already bought the parts?

Cheers again for the help. I was just wondering, I've heard a lot about Ryzen not supporting RAM for various reasons do you think my 2133mhz speed will be good enough or will i have to get some more?

If you are willing to buy a much higher frequency than 2133MHz, then yes. (Keep in mind that Ryzen only supports DDR4 memory)

2133 will be fine. In some games the infinity fabric design of Ryzen can cause bottlenecks, and running RAM at 2666 or higher will alleviate this.

Even though your RAM is only rated to 2133, you may be able to manually overclock it anyway.

If you are willing to pay it, the MSI Pro Carbon is the best B350 out there, and I belive to be the only one with 8 power phases!

EDIT: I didnt want to quote this but I cant quote What I wanted neither so, This is about the mobo choice!
