2. Aim

System will be used mainly for playing CS:GO (does not need powerful graphics card) and occasionally other more demanding games, as well as usual office work.

3. Monitors

Include 1* 1920x1080 144hz monitor please.

4. Peripherals

Include:

- Corsair K70 Lux RGB with Cherry MX Reds

5. Why are you upgrading?

Am currently playing on a not very powerful laptop which does not give sufficient frames to run CS:GO smoothly let alone other gaming titles.

Thanks in advance for all your suggestions,

nice, don't buy it a i7 will give you better minimums, get a 6700, a gtx 1050ti or a gtx 1060.

or Ryzen 1600.

it's not great for 144Hz gaming on AAA titles, but it's good enough for 144Hz on CS:GO, and will give great minimums.

Do you mean 'don't use bold' or I misunderstood, where was I using blue?

I understand it will be more powerful but I am on a budget and this is a very good deal for a game that will comfortably run 144fps+ with this processor.

With my budget:

Keyboard: ~ 170

Monitor:    ~  220

GPU:         ~ 250

SSD + HDD ~ 100

CPU Cooler: ~ 30

Mobo:         ~ 100

PSU            ~ 60

Case :         ~ 70

Total :          ~ 1000

I'm already pushing it even without a more expensive processor like you suggest.

Can you suggest a good alternative build within (approximately) the suggested budget?

This list looks fabulous!

- I see with the budget I will not be able to buy an RGB keyboard, but it has the switches I want so that's dandy for me,

- Could you recommend a case with a side window? Could cost a bit more too if necessary,

- I think I will go for the HyperX Cloud 2 instead, they are only a bit more expensive here and someone nearby has them so I can test them and know that they're great.

Apart from that, thanks for your suggestion!
