Get an SSD to speed things up.

Overclocking it won't help, its just a crap chip for gaming on honestly.

Edit - im also pretty sure you can't overclock it either, the APU's need to have a K on the end to be overclocked, so you'd need an A8 7650k.

I do not have enough money to change my proc and mobo. Is there any good FM2+ socket cpu for gaming?

Dont be ridiculous. He already has a discreet GPU. An APU is a waste of money

Seriously though... Look into the used market. An LGA 1155 motherboard with either a Z68 a Rev 3.0 P67 or even a Z77 chipset and a 2500k will run rings around anything that the FM2+ platform can offer without costing an arm and a leg.

But... If you absolutely need to stick with the FM2+... Go with this

I used to have the 860k and if you can get it to 4.5ghz it will do the trick.

Are you fucking retarded ? ATHLON DOESNT HAVE iGPU. A4, A6, A8 & A10 have iGPU.

Not at all. But the OP already said he has a GTX 950. So what the f*ck is he going to do with an R5 grade Radeon on his CPU?

Cause of clock speed and OC potential and quality of general CPU

Sorry to let you down, friend. But the R5 lineup of GPU's existed well before Ryzen released. So why dont you take a breather, and relax?

It was failure for gaming but success for buisness work and read my post :

The 860k is basically an A10-7850k with the IGPU part disabled. Why waste money on a dead platform.

Chances are you'll be able to find the 860k for much less than any of the A10 chips.

The Athlon will also run cooler, thus offering better overclocking potential.

You should have no problems getting the 860k to 4.5ghz with something like the 212Evo.

HOWEVER. My recommendation is to get rid of the FM2+ platform completely, and look for an older Sandy Bridge i5. The 2500k will also clock to 4.5 ghz with ease, and with those frequencies it's comparable to something like a Haswell i5, possibly even the locked Skylake i5's in terms of performance. I bought my 2500k for 60€ and got a Z68 chipset board for 55€ That's 115€ for a DDR3 platform that when paired with the OP's GTX 950 should do very well indeed for a few more years.
