Good Gaming Laptop?

So Currently I am in the search of a good gaming Laptop, that doesn't have the "GAMER" look and is fairly light. Right now I found a refurbished MSI GS Series GS63VR Stealth Pro-001 15.6 (https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834154409) with a 1060 and I7. It is going for $1,549.99CAD, is this a good deal? and have you guys dealt with refurbished items, are they worse is anyway?

Feel free to give me some suggestions for other laptops as well.

1060 is better than a 1050Ti right?

Going to use it for school, so Portability and looks are kinda important. I still want it to be able to handles games tho

It's going to be used for university, but I still want one that I can game on. That laptop is 4 pounds which is not too bad

MSI GS, Gigabyte Aero 14/15, maybe upcoming Max-Q laptops?

Not so gaming - Dell XPS 15, Lenovo Yoga 720

 

No Razer laptops, please.
