hey so i have a MSI B350M PRO VDH motherboard and it supports MSI mystic lights software, sadly i feel like the software is crap. i cant really customize the lighting effects its basically breathing, flashing, or double flashing. does anyone have any recommended software for RGB control?

If it is LEDs controlled through the motherboard, then it likely will require the software provided by the motherboard manufacturer.

pretty much have the same thing on the Asrock x370 taichi, the softwares are all new or beta's tho. I think aura or nzxt's stuff is more developped.

Asus Aura and NZXT while more developed are still buggy. I just disable the LEDs, or set them to static to minimise issues.

would it work if i were to download the software from a board with a more updated version?

Use the latest version of the software that is listed on your motherboard manufacturers website for your board.

Often manufacturers release variants of the software specific to each board and will not be compatible with others.
